Heart Attack– Chest pain (pressure, tightness, pain, squeezing, or aching)
– Pain spreading to shoulder, arm, back, neck, jaw, or upper belly
– Cold sweat, fatigue, heartburn, indigestion, lightheadedness, dizziness, nausea
– Shortness of breath
Stroke– Trouble speaking and understanding speech
– Numbness, weakness, or paralysis in face, arm, or leg (often one side)
– Vision problems (blurred, blackened, or double vision)
– Severe headache, vomiting, dizziness, change in consciousness
– Trouble walking, loss of balance or coordination
Drug Overdose– Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
– Pain, drowsiness, confusion, poor coordination
– Agitation, paranoia, loss of consciousness
– Breathing problems (slowed, labored, or stopped breathing)
Seizures– Temporary confusion, staring spell
– Jerking movements of arms and legs
– Loss of consciousness or awareness
– Cognitive or emotional changes (fear, anxiety, déjà vu)
Shock– Cool, clammy skin, pale or ashen skin
– Rapid pulse, rapid breathing
– Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting
– Changes in mental status (anxiousness, agitation)
