You have seen an advertisement from a couple, who live in Australia, for someone to teach their two children your language for a year.
Write a letter to the couple. In your letter

• explain why you think you would be suitable for the job
• say what else you could do for the family
• give your reasons for wanting the job

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is ______. I am a resident of Surrey,Canada.I am writing this letter in response to an advertisement published on the job bank mentioning that you require a language teacher. I am highly interested to take up this position.

I am a native Punjabi speaker and have done Masters in Punjabi language. I have ten years experience of working in a government school, teaching to students from elementary to secondary level. I am passionate about teaching and have a special love for young children. Apart from that, I have done childcare course through which I got roper training about handling children.

If given the chance, in addition to educating your children, I would utilize my free time to prepare delicious north Indian cuisines for your family. Moreover, I would not mind taking out the children for a stroll in the park. I would also develop some games in which the children can learn and play at the same time.

I am eager to get this job because my immediate family members reside in Australia, so this will be a chance for me to unite with them. Also, being a teacher, it will be feather in my cap to avail some international experience.
