Describe a big city you would like to visit.

You should say:

which big city would you like to visit

how you would travel there

what you would do there

and explain why you would like to travel to this big city

Answer 1:

The city I would love to visit is Amritsar, a vibrant metropolis in the northern Indian state of Punjab. Known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and delectable cuisine, Amritsar has always been on my travel wishlist.

To reach Amritsar, I would prefer to travel by train, as it offers a unique opportunity to witness the diverse landscapes of India. The journey, filled with picturesque views of sprawling fields and small bustling towns, would be an adventure in itself.

Once in Amritsar, my first stop would undoubtedly be the Golden Temple, a magnificent gilded structure that serves as a symbol of human brotherhood and equality. As a lover of history, I would also visit the Jallianwala Bagh, a historical site that commemorates the Indian freedom struggle.

A trip to Amritsar would be incomplete without indulging in the local cuisine. I would relish the opportunity to taste authentic Punjabi dishes like Amritsari Kulcha, Butter Chicken, and the famous Amritsari Lassi.

The reason I would like to visit Amritsar is its unique blend of culture, history, and spirituality. The city’s warm hospitality, combined with its historical significance and culinary delights, makes it a must-visit destination. Moreover, being a part of the vibrant festivals of Amritsar, such as Baisakhi, would be a truly enriching experience.

In conclusion, Amritsar, with its rich tapestry of history, culture, and spirituality, is the city I yearn to visit. Its unique charm and the myriad experiences it offers make it a city worth exploring.
