Answer 2:
The bar graph illustrates the proportion of Britishers of different age groups donating money to charity in the year 1990 and in 2010.
Overall, it is apparent that in 1990, people below 50 donated more money, however an opposite trend was seen in 2010, where groups over 50 made significant contributions.
In 1990, British people in age group of 18-25 contributed to 17% of money, however this dropped sharply to just 7% in 2010. Similar downward trend was seen in people in the age bracket of 26-35, who gave 30% in 1990 and in 2010 the percentage dropped to 24%. The highest proportion of charitable donations were made by 36-50 years old, at 43% in 1990 but later it declined slightly to 35% in 2010.
On the other hand, the donations in 2010 soared with increasing age. The donations went up by 5% in 2010 for people in the age bracket 51-65. Likewise, marginal growth was seen in people above 65, devoting 35% of money to charities in 2010 from 32% a decade ago.
