The maps represent the current layout of a small town named Islip and proposed changes to make it look differently after renovations.

Overall, it is apparent that the town will undergo drastic changes with inclusion of additional facilities such as bus stations, shopping center and expansion of housing area.

Presently, a main road runs between the town center from east to west. On the south west, it branches to a small lane near the school, while on the south east it leads to join the park. This road is planned to be replaced by construction of a pedestrian path and the entire town center will be enclosed by a dual carriageway.

Currently, the north side of the town near the country side has shops on either side of the main road. However in the future, these will be transformed and bus station, shopping center, car park and a new housing area will be introduced. The park that is present on south east is projected to be reduced in size to make room for additional housing. Although the school will remain at the same place, expansion in its size is predicted.

While it is mainly consisted of the wide open within the north, a enormous zone is possessed by lodging within the south.
