IELTS indicator is a test which can be taken from home through online mediums. It is only available for academic purposes only and not for the purposes , where IELTS General could be used. It was designed during the COVID times , because the original IELTS Academic tests were sparingly being held due to spread of COVID 19. Educational institutes have the option to accept indicator scores till the actual IELTS exams are on hold. IELTS indicator is a version of the IELTS test, so it also has four modules of listening, reading, writing and speaking. The test is held once in a week and the results are available in 7 days after the exam. The fee for exam is $149 USD.
The applicants should check with the educational institute, where they intent to study, if IELTS indicator scores are acceptable to them or not.
At the current moment IELTS indicator is only available in the following countries:
