Dear Mr Raymond,
I am Preet Sohi, and I am writing this letter in regards to a potential job opportunity you offered to me in one of your restaurants.
If you must remember, I sat just beside you on our flight from Chicago to Vancouver on November 5. During our conversation, you mentioned that you own a chain of restaurants in Vancouver and by noticing my enthusiasm to work in a managerial position you were kind enough to suggest me that I should contact you for a possible job opening in your restaurant.
Recently, while surfing the website of one of your restaurants I saw a vacancy for Assistant Manager. I am really interested in this position as this will be a perfect platform for me to showcase my managerial skills.
Also, as I informed you that I have done my masters in Business Administration and taken a short course called Super Host to polish my customer service skills, so I believe this is the perfect opportunity for me. Therefore, based upon my educational qualifications and experience, I will do full justice to this role.
I hope to hear a positive response from your side.
Yours faithfully,
Preet Sohi
