Dear Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my interest in doing a training course and would like to ask for your permission for the same.
Few days ago, while browsing Facebook I saw an advertisement about Occupational First Aid course. The course is of one week and will be held in Pro Safe First Aid Training School, Vancouver. This course is basically for beginner to intermediate levels and all the candidates will be issued a certificate at the end of this program.
As this course is an asset for my current job, I hoping that you will allow me five days off from my work schedule. I have spoken my fellow colleague, and he is ready to cover up for me. Also, since this course is requirement for our company’s employees, I would like to get reimbursed on the training fee.
Being a certified first aid attendant will be extremely helpful for me and our company. I work as a warehouse manager, so I believe it is imperative to have sound knowledge about work related injuries and how to handle them accurately. Besides, I will be aware of potential risks at the job site and could help to reduce it in future.
Waiting for you approval.
Yours sincerely,
Preet Sohi
