IELTS Letter 7-2

Dear Wendy and Marjorie,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to you for sending the photos our our latest trip.

I cannot thank you enough for the hospitality you have shown me during my stay at your house. Each day spent with you was unforgettable. I had a great time visiting the Great Smokey Mountains and Washington DC. I was truly amazed by the beauty of all the states and the fancy restaurants. Also, I must not forget to mention that you two were impeccable hosts and every moment spent with you was magical. Besides, I would like to extend my thank you for capturing all the priceless moments in your camera and sharing them with me.

I apologize for not writing to you earlier. Actually, I had been busy with my job and I guess you already know that I had a big deadline due at my work. I was working day and night long to finish the project and make it a success. Therefore, it slipped in my mind to revert back.

Anyway, I am having a two week holiday this summer, so I would love to have you both with me during the summer vacation. I know you always wanted to visit Canada, so please plan for the trip and I am sure you will enjoy your time here.
