Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you that unfortunately I will not be able to continue the voluntary work in your organization.
I joined your organization two years ago and since then I have been helping the underprivileged people. Mainly, I used to go to the slum areas and distribute stationary and books to children who could not afford it. Besides, on several occasions I would help in other initiatives of your organization such as preparing and packing food in the newly opened food bank.
I regret to say that now I will not be able to do this work any longer. Actually, I got selected in University of Michigan for my dental program and for that I will have to migrate to the USA. Since it is a full time course, I would not get the opportunity to visit your organization and continue the charity work.
However, I have spoken to one of my friends who is interested to volunteer in my place. He is also passionate about helping the needy people in community and has an open availability. I have attached his resume with this letter so that you can review his candidacy and offer him this opportunity.
Yours sincerely,
Preet Sohi
