IELTS Letter Writing : letter to the singer

You recently went to a concert and thought one of the singers was very good. You want to tell him how you feel.Write a letter to the singer. In your letter

• say how you feel about his performance
• give details of your musical activities
• explain how you would like him to help you with your musical activities.

Dear Mr. Mankirt,

I am writing this letter to congratulate you for a breath taking performance at the Willow Stadium last night.

I was completely mesmerized by your performance and could not take my eyes off you for a second. It was a dream come true to watch you sing in reality. I believe everyone in the audience was totally awestruck when you sang your hits and clicked photos with them.

I would like to share that I am an aspiring musician. I am a band member in my college band where I play some instruments such as guitar, keyboard and I am also a lyricist. I started composing songs at a very age and I dream of becoming a famous composer in near future.

Since I consider you to be my idol, it would be an honour for me if you could spare out some time to offer me some tips and techniques to become proficient in my field. I believe your guidance will certainly help to polish my skills.
