-say why you would like to do this work
-explain when you will and will not be available
Dear Mrs Barrett,
My name is Raman. I saw your advertisement in the newspaper regarding the help needed in coming summer. I am writing this letter in response to your advertisement about wanting someone to help you.
As I am a professional chef, I could help you in making different meals. I know it must be really hard for you to cook Indian food, therefore I will prepare all the Indian delicacies for you. Apart from this, I can also lend you a helping hand in other household chores such as cleaning and laundry.
Since I am a student, I will be having three month vacation in summer. So, I am interested in utilizing that time by working at your house and making money which I can use as my tuition fees. Also, I think it will be great opportunity for me to interact with you and learn about your country where I plan to go in future.
Although I will be having off that time, I would still have to spare time to complete my assignments. Hence, I will be available early morning through late afternoons, keeping the evenings to myself. However, I would not mind to change the schedule if you have any commitments on certain days.
Yours sincerely,
