The pie charts represent online shopping sales for retail sectors such as travel, film, books and clothes in New Zealand from the year 2003 and 2013.

Overall, it is clear that while the sales of film/music and books went up, travel sector and clothes witnessed a drop in 2013. Moreover, travel sector was the leading industry in 2003 whereas film/music sector had the highest online sales in 2013.

The travel sector accounted for the biggest share of online sales in 2003 at 36%, however it declined significantly to 29% in 2013. Likewise, proportion of online sales for clothing sector was the second largest at 24%, nonetheless it dramatically fell to 16% in 2003.

On the other hand, film/music industry experienced a significant jump in its online sales from 21% in 2003 to 33% in 2013, becoming the market leader in 2013. A similar growth was seen in sales of books which was 19% in 2003, however it surged to 22% in 2013.
