Overall, it is apparent that women in all age groups exercised more compared to men, except in the young age bracket.
Males falling in age range of 15-24 exercised the most, accounting for 52.8%. The percentage of men who engaged in physical activity gradually decreased with growing age until 35 to 44 age bracket. However, the participation went up steadily with increasing age groups before becoming almost even with women of the age range 65 and over at 46.7%.
On the other hand, women falling in age group of 15 to 24 had a relatively less participation then men, amounting to 47.7%. It then constantly rose and reached a peak of 53.3% for females in 45 to 54 age range. Finally, women who were 65 and over participated the least in physical activity, accounting to only 47.1%

Throughout the six categories of age groups, the percentage of males is less as compared to females. The highest percentage of male is 15 to 24 category which is at 52.8%. After the young males category, the late stage categories of age groups 55 to 64 and 65 and over are approximately at the same percentage of 46.7%. People who are engaged in office and in doing exercises in practical life have less time to get involved in physical activities. The age group of these people are 25 to 34, 35 to 44 and 45 to 54 and they are almost at the same percentage which lies between 39.5 to 43.1%.
As compared to males, females have shown a great interest in participation in physical activities. The least percent in females is in the age group of 65 and over. However, the rest of all the categories of age groups standing between 52.5 to 52.3% in doing workout.
Overall, female participation in physical activity demonstrates that they do care and worry about health issues as compared to male.
