You should say:
What law should it be
Who should follow the law
Do you think it would be easy to implement and enforce this law
Sample Answer:(Describe an environmental law)
In today’s world, the environment is being affected by a lot of negative factors and governments need to focus on this aspect, so as to safeguard the earth’s environment, in order to help the future in generations to have a comfortable life.
I am from India and in my country the population is growing at a enormous rate and in order to accommodate the growing population, more and more colonies are being built Therefore, in order to build these colonies, trees are being cut on a large scale. So, I would like the government in my country to implement a law which prohibits people from cutting the trees to make space for new homes, but instead it should be making and incentivizing arrangements for multi-story buildings. This alternative will help in accommodate the growing population, although it will not provide them with detached houses.
The law would be of no significance, if it’s not implemented in a proper fashion. So, rather than just implementing the law in papers government should take steps for its proper enforcement. It should be taken care that it is followed by all the people in the country including builders realtors or even the individuals. For example, the builders should not be allowed to construct houses on reserve forest areas, realtors should not be allowed to deal in the properties which have any trees and owners plan to cut the trees for construction and even people should not be allowed to cut trees for firewood. By making it mandatory for everybody in the country to follow the law the government will surely be fruitful in reversing the harmful effects done on the environment.
Going by the selfish mindset of the population, I don’t think it will be easier for the government to enforce such kind of law because people only think about their own needs rather than thinking about the society as a whole. It will be very difficult for the government to change the mindset of the people in just a single day or with just one law, but with the proper penal procedures in place for those people, who do not follow the law it will act as the deterrent for people to violate the law. Slowly and slowly the people will start following the law and there is one more thing which I think should be helpful to the government. In addition to the law being implemented, the government should take steps to make people aware about the benefit of trees. The government should organize awareness session for people to make them educate about the benefit of the trees and what harmful affects the future generations will have to face, if trees are not being taken care of properly. Finally, I think of all the steps implemented in good faith then they will be immensely useful to the people and for generations to come.
