Sample Answer: ( Describe an interest or hobby )
I have two hobbies which I really enjoy whenever I’m doing, first one of them is playing computer games and the second one is watching horror movies. So today I will discuss about my hobby of watching horror movies. I’ve been watching horror movies since I was a small kid. I remember that my interest in the horror movies has been there since my childhood and I used to watch a good horror movie every time my exam results were out and if I passed with flying colors then me and my brother used to watch any horror movie together. I don’t know which was the first horror movie I saw because I have seen so many of them now, but whenever I get a chance to watch a movie I just see it.
The reason I like watching horror movies is because I’m very much interested in paranormal activities and I always get curious that what is there in the ghosts that scare people and why it is being portrayed that the ghosts are always scary, so I try to watch movie with a different mindset rather than being just a spectator. I try to analyze the movies psychologically that how different communities or different countries across the world have the different ways of making their people scared.
I mostly watch horror movies when I’m alone because when I’m watching a movie alone then I get more chance to analyze what I want to look for in the movie. There have been very rare moments where I have watched horror movies with someone else and I also think that people consider those people weird, who are watching a lot of horror movies so that is why just to avoid any uncomfortable experiences I prefer to watch horror movies alone rather than forcing my choice on someone else. And also I would like to mention that the one thing I have analyzed in all the movies which I have seen till now that mostly the ghosts are shown has girls and mostly in white colour and in the end it’s always the GOD who saves people or the mankind from the torturous effects of the paranormal beings.
