Most of the people are fond of buying clothes for themselves, but it certainly feels better when somebody gifts it to you. Because, in addition to an extra clothing what a person gets, are the blessings as well as affection. The occasion which I remember where I was recently gifted a clothing was on my marriage anniversary. It was gifted to me by my wife as a token of love before my wedding anniversary.

I think it was two or three days before my wedding anniversary, when we were talking to each other and we discovered that I was not having a headgear for a particular color. We decided that whenever we will go to the market, we will buy that particular-colored headgear. It was a normal conversation, and I did not have the feeling that she will be planning a surprise for me based on that conversation.

So, on our wedding anniversary day, she wore an Indian attire of that particular color. I had a feeding in my mind that, she was just getting ready because it was our anniversary. She was wearing the color, about which we had discussion few days ago. I thought that it was just to show to me, but then suddenly she took out a gift for me.

When I opened the package, it had the headgear which I was planning to buy. It was the same-colored headgear, as the dress she was wearing. So just to be a matching couple, she wanted me to wear that headgear at the same time. I was very excited because first it was my anniversary and secondly, I got what I desired.

I got ready and then we went for dinner together. As we were wearing matching-colored clothes, so our pair looked very impressive. We went to three places and everybody admired us, also everybody was so much impressed with the dressing combination.

I’m thankful to my wife because she was the force behind all that admiration. That headgear is very important to me because other than the color, it is my wife’s affection which is attached to the headgear as well as her willingness to fulfil my desires. As a token of respect for her affection, I always wear that headgear on special occasions. I think that headgear is much closer to me than all the clothes I have

Somewhere I feel that I should’ve also gifted her something, but because I did not have any plans in my mind, so I did not do anything for her. I think that act of hers, has motivated me to be more expressive in future and I think whenever I will get an opportunity to show my affection or maybe on my next wedding anniversary, I’ll certainly buy a gift for her.
