Sample Answer:
There are many famous places in India which carry religious or historic importance. Today, I would like to speak about Taj Mahal which is another part of India, in the city of Agra.
Taj Mahal is a huge monument built on the banks of river Yamuna, by a renowned emperor named Shah Jahan, in remembrance of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is made of white marble which reflects the moonlight during night. In fact, this is the only place which falls under seven wonders of the world from India.
People usually visit this place out of curiosity and to admire the fine artwork of the tomb. Mostly people are seen clicking pictures around this monument. Apart from this, there is a section where history of Taj Mahal is written in different languages, so people go there and explore it.
Taj Mahal is of great historic significance because it took almost 20 years to build it and the body of Mumtaz Mahal is buried under it. Shah Jahan invited craftsmen, artists and masons to complete the structure. One strange thing about monument is that it is rumored that those artists were not allowed to create any other moments after this tomb. Nevertheless, it is one of the most important place that revives Indian history.
