Sample Answer:

The day which I remember which I can say that it was a stressful day for me was the one, when I was in 12 standard and on that particular day I was supposed to appear for my Physics exam. I was thoroughly prepared, so I was confident that I will be scoring good marks in the exam. To begin with, I woke up early in the morning,  I did some revision of the questions and went through all the concepts. I got ready and cleaned up my bicycle and then when and I drove to school. I reached there and there was a lot of hustle and bustle in the school because whole of the school was going through examination mood.

I checked on the notice board that in which class I was supposed to sit in for the exam. I went there and occupied my seat. In those days at our school, we used to have a seating pattern, in which the students were used to sit in alternative fashion in which one student will be from a particular class and the next one will be from a different grade. This was just a method employed by our school to avoid cheating. So, as I sat on my seat and kept on waiting for exam to commence and praying to GOD that the exam should contain only those questions, which I knew, so that I could score good marks. The exam was supposed to start at 9 AM so I was sitting and waiting for my other classmates to arrive. It was ninth standard students who were supposed to sit with us in the alternative fashion. So I was kind of tensed because till 8.55 am nobody from my class was there for the exam. I was of the belief earlier that, that I was the only person who is scared of the exam but then I opined that people were scared to that level they were not even  willing to come till the last moment for the exam and the horror began.

At 8:55 am, a ninth standard friend came to me and he asked me that why was I  there that day. I told him that today we have an exam and may be because it’s very difficult exam that’s why people might not be ready for the exam, hence,  they’re not there yet. At that time he told me that the exam was already done a day before. I was shocked, I check my exam schedule and it had the same date, the date on which I was there.

So I went to my science teacher and she told me that schedule was updated and may be somehow I forgot to update my timetable according to the new schedule. I was very worried then because I had not appeared for the exam so it meant, I’ll not be scoring  less marks, instead I’ll be given a zero mark in the exam and it was all because of my carelessness that I missed my exam. I had requested my science teacher to let me appear for the exam on a new date, she did not allow me.

Finally, I went to the principal’s office and I told her about what happened. I informed her that I was not able to update my schedule and that’s why I missed my exam so she checked my academic record and she found that, I was a brilliant student. Although she did not allow me to reappear for the exam, but she said that she could reduce the weigh for that particular exam so that when the final marks for the year arrive, at that time this particular mistake of mine can be not totally ignored but given less importance so that I does not affect my total scores. I was very thankful to her that she made me to leave otherwise my mind was totally stressed and I could have even taken a bad action. Four people formed important part of that incident, me the protagonist, science teacher, ninth grader and the saviour principal.
