-give details of when you would be available for work
Answer:
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my interest in rendering part time voluntary services at your museum.
I am highly interested in taking up this opportunity as it will enrich my knowledge about the history and at the same time I will learn some invaluable skills. Also, this is going to be a life time experience for me to pass and share the information about our country to other community members.
Being a graduate in History, I have sound knowledge about the ancient times and can easily classify different artworks based upon their dates. Moreover, I possess great inter-personal skills which would help to raise the number of visitors in the museum. Apart from this, I am a computer literate, so I can easily help you in maintaining records.
Currently I am working Monday to Friday until 2 pm at a local school. However, I am available to work late evenings and on weekends, starting from next week.
I hope you will consider my application to work in your prestigious museum.
Thank you,
Preet Sohi
